What can be more exciting than planning a weekend get away with friends since high school who seldom see each other but remain friends for life. Its 35 years of friendship and counting, we are all busy with our lives doing multiple roles of a woman but we never forget to have fun.

So on early morning of Saturday (March 18, 2017 ) we went to Subic Bay which is 4 hrs drive from Manila. The long travel is a good time for catching up.

Next time maybe we can rent a yacth for P20,000 for 2 hrs. We only planned for sight seing the Subic Bay and the adjacent place , Olongapo. We were not prepared for sailing.

From the yacht club we went to the mountain side in the afternoon to see the fruit bat. Those trees are full of bats that are sleeping on day time. The bats are hanging in a tree that resembles a fruit that is why its called fruit bat

Then back to the seaside to see the historic marker of the turnover of the Subic Bay from the USA govt to Phil govt

Heavenly father , we gather today to celebrate 2 special milestone of Lily , her christening and 1st birthday.

We thank you Lord for the gift of life, of the love of famiy and friends.

We pray oh Lord that Lily will grow in faith and in yor love..

As we share this meal together we ask you Lord to bless us with joy and bless the food that it may bring nourishmnent to our bodues and may we glorify you in everything we. This we ask in Jesus name we pray amen

Medical Certificate

My son is required to get medical certificate so that he can join the ROTC in college . I thought it is just bp/pulse and the physical appearance if fit to undergo strenuous activities .. But that is not what happened he was required to undergo x ray , Ecg and now he is in the room doing stress test.. I am praying that everything will be okay for my son.. Please Lord

Update: thanks God everything os okay , the doctor certified that my son is fit to undergo ROTC

Good afternoon everyone

What an incredible blessing to stand here today surrounded by family and friends to witness the beautiful uniom of two lives.

Hayaan nyo po akong magsimula sa isang kwento, 8 years ago while me and Reu are having late breakfast masayang masaya si Reu na sinabi nya sa akin Ma may girlfriend na ako si Kate. Sabi ko congrats and ang sunod na naisabi ko Is she a godly woman?

When I asked Reu if she a godly woman? I am not asking him if Kate is religious what i mean by godly woman is the woman described in Proverbs 31.

His answer was oo naman and he told me so many good things about Kate. When Kate was introduced to us gusto ko na siya and welcome na welcome she Kate sa family namin , student pa lang sila non sinasabi ko na kay Reu sana siya na ang ma pangasawa mo.. Kate is the 1st and last girlfriend of Reu ganon din si Kate 1st and lSt boyfriend nya dn si Kate

Ang dali ng panahon .. You were once a sweet little Boy na okay lang kung late ko masusundo. You have grown into a kind and reaponsible man. Today you take on the most important role of your life ,. that of a husband . Be a husband after Gods own heart

A husband after Gods own heart is a man who leads with humility, prays sincerely, listens with patience and serves with joy. It is not being perfect. It is about pursuing God in the way you love and protect and provide for your wife just as christ love the church

To my beautiful daughter in law kate. You are a true blessing. You embodies a woman in Proberbs 31 verse 10-31 it deacribes a woman of noble character whose values is far more than rubies. It speaks of a woman who is diligent,. wise, kind, and fears the Lord. Thank you for loving Reu I always tell him Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife finds favor from the Lord

Now I would like to offer you both some advice – from a mother and a wife for 33 yrs

First Always pray together . A marriage rooted in prayer is a marriage anchored in Gods strenght not your own .. Even in the hardest days and there will be hard days go to Him together.

second keep choosing each other evey single day. Love is not just a feeling it is a daily decision Sometime that decision comes easy and sometimes it requires great grace But the decision to love is always worth it

third forgive quick and often. You are both imperfect people and you will always fail one another at times . But peace is the glue that hold a godly marriage together

fourth protect your unity Guard your time , your conversation and tour heart. The world will pull you in different direcrion but remenber tou are one now stay united

and finally laugh together, cry together when lifes get heavy.. and never underestimate the power of kind word and touch

Today marks the beginning of your new chapter, it is a beautiful beginning .. God brought you together for a reason , for a purpose bigger than either of you .. Walk boldy in that purpos hand in hand with christ at the center

so here is our blessing to you

may tour love be strong, tour faith deeper , your joy fuller, and your home always a reflection of Gods grace.

Congratulations my children . We live you deeply and we are cheering you. every step of the way.

Drive Safely

I almost meet an accident today , in the railway of Tabuco Naga City. My mind is wandering somewhere., I did not notice the traffic enforcer waving me to stop.. Just 10 seconds after I crossed the railroad and the train is there.. I can see the stares of onlookers and drivers telling me I’m crazy for crossing the railroad , oh my God accidents can really happen in a snap of a finger.

Thank you Lord , this is my new life today.. I pulled my car and type this still my heart pumping fast . Thank you so much Lord for taking care of me . I learned a lesson today, to be present in mind while driving.. When I am thinking of so many I cannot see things around me .. That multi functioning does not apply to me , that is one thing I learned myself today , I am not aware before , I am only capable of concentrating on one thing at a time .

Sine Kabataan Short Film Festival

I watched all the 10 films for 2 days which film runs from 15 to 20 minutes. On the second day, I watched the talk back session where all the directors are in front , there was this question and answer portion. My daughter produced one of the entries and her husband is the director. It was fun. These young and talented film makers may bring back the glory days of the philippines cinema

Naga Hope Christian School: A Journey of Growth

( My testimony as parent of 3 students all graduated in Naga Hope Christian School)

To our guest speaker, Board of Trustees , faculty member , Admin Staff, parent , and graduates good afternoon.

I am a mother of — who are all graduates of Naga Hope Christian School. My eldest graduated here last 2009, my second child 2012 and now 2024 my youngest is graduating today.

For us choosing a school for our children is a crucial decision, it must be intentional and I thank God that there is Naga Hope Christian School that provides quality education based on biblical principles.

Naga Hope Christian School is true to its mission. It was clearly seen during their Junior High School in 2020 when pandemic hits pur country. The school had adopted a system of mix online and module where student can choose which is applicable to them . I am very grateful to all the teachers who were always ready to help their students even beyond rue school working hours.

Thank you also to all my son’s classmates and friends who help each other and be there for one another during those challenging times. For me NCHS is not only a school , it is a community where everyone can feel they belong .

This is a school where manong guard personally knows each student , each parent and can even tell you if your child already went out or may nagsundo na.

Naga Hope Christian School has prepared their High School graduates to college . Every now and then we can see big tarpaulins hanging outside the gate congratulating former graduates of this school for the achievements in various fields . they have chosen .. May daughter — and son — dis well also in college and after school. She had worked in the senate and now in a big government corporation.. My son — is now an architect is is doing well.

Dear fellow graduates you will cope college life easily because Naga hope Christian school had prepared you academically and spiritually .

For the past 19 years NHCS had been a home to our 3 children

Father God our creator , we praise you and give you thanks for the gift of love . We have the capacity to love because You have love us first by giving your son Jesus Christ to us. It is from this highest redemptive, sacrificial love from you that we learn to love unconditionally.

We thank you for the love between Gian and Rea We pray for the blessing of their union as they celebrate their wedding today. Bless oh Lord the family that they have started.. May they have a deep relationship with you , that they may glorify you and that blessings upon blessings be with Rea and Gian and to their child Lily and to the future children and grandchildren. And when their hairs turn into grey , they still hold hands and will still say thank you Lord for the gift of love and the life well lived having each other.

I am in the point of my life where doubts , and fears engulfed me.. I need a breather, so we went on a family trip to El Nido , it is such a beautiful place , but even then the problems I left behind followed me. Oh travel is not an escape, peace is within .. Then I remember when the Lord said to his disciple who was very afraid that the boat will sink “you have little faith ” and to the wind “be still” and immediately there was a great calm.

The Noble Hotel Cebu

It was 80percent off in Agoda , the reviews were generally good so we grab it. The Noble Hotel is a condotel inside the Grand Residences.

Here is unit, it has sink, dining table, sala with TV and aircon, one bedroom with toilet and bath, and also a tv set and aircon. and there is a balcony overlooking the pool and the building B of the Grand Residences

the bed is soft , comfy and smells fresh
the living and dining room is huge and clean . There is a microwave oven so we can heat the foods we brought from stores outside, There is also ref with complementary bottled water, an electric thermos with coffee and kitchen utensils.
the bed is good for 2 persons only so we had an extra bed at the living room
the pool is huge so it is never crowded in any day during our stay
there are 2 buildings , the Noble hotel is on building A. the other side which is building B is under construction at the moment
breakfast has only few choices of food, well, we get what we paid for, it is only 399 so we did not expect much
Skydeck 360

There is a bar on the rooftop, where we had an experience where we hope we will not experience again. We ordered mojito, after an hour I feel all around me is moving, I thought I had a vertigo attack, and I was blaming the mojito we drank. Then the crew said we should all sit down, that is the only time we realized, oh my we need to duck to the floor, find a sturdy furniture to cover , and hold on until the shaking stops. We did not do those things. No amount of earthquake drill can prepare you for a real earthquake. We just sit down on a couch waited until the shaking stops. Go down to the building afterwards and waited until everything is clear. All hotel guest are outside the building sitting on the side of the pool, and on the lobby While waiting for the go signal to get inside the hotel , the three of us fall asleep on a chair in an open lobby infront of the swimming pool . When we woke up it is only the three of us outside. We were greeted by the hotel staff good morning when we passed by the reception , it was past 1am . Thanks God we are safe.

Bicol International Airport has no international flight yet because the runway is too short , they have to buy the neighboring lots to make an expansion
Im thinking of food security, look at that massive land fit for agriculture , if only this can be developed into farms

Kota Kinabalu City Mosque

One of the tourist destination n Kota Kinabalu is the City Mosque .It is a few minute drive from the city center accessible by car.

it is called a floating mosque but it is not really floating . It is surrounded by man made pond
every guest is encourage to wear abaya (gown) and hijab(scarf) which can be rented at the entrance gate
major religion in Sabah is Islam . Guest from other faith is welcomed to enter their place of worship called mosque
Islamic architecture and interior design is so unique that you can easily identify it from other non islam edifice

Is it worth visiting? for me yes. I came from a christian family and I love to explore places of worship other than my own. It is nice to experience the warmth and welcoming gesture from other beliefs and the respect to each others faith

Belmont Hotel a review

Belmont hotel is located accross NAIA 3 . It is a 5 minute walk passing through runway Manila. We are travelling to Kota Kinabalu the next day so location wise this hotel is the best

the room is neat and clean
linen is soft and smells fresh
the top roof pool has a cafe beside it
the deepest part of the pool is only 5 feet. This is safe for children
quench our thirst on this humid afternoon

healthy option, no that was just an appetizer , actually we have loads of carbo and meat after the fruits 😀

Over all Belmont Hotel meets our expectation and would definitely recommend this to friends and family

Post Election

It is 2 years now, our country is going deeper into debt. Inflation is high. What if my candidate win?

Though we lost in the last election we do not lose hope. Before I delete this video ib my phone I need to post this to remind me that once in my lifetime I joined the many volunteers who had hopes that something better will happen in my country

Overnight Stay in Manila before flying to Kota Kinabalu

I have been looking for travel to any part in Asia where the fare should be 5,000 phil pesos or 100 usd and found this from Air Asia :

Manila to Kota Kinabalu and back to Manila for exactly 5,050 only.

We are living in the province(Bicol) so the next thing I did was to look for a sale equivalent to bus fare and so lucky I got from Cebu Pacific only 998 for one way fare, even lesser than a bus fare.

Our flight to Kota Kinabalu upon is 7:30 am we decided to fly to Manila a day before since international travel from Manila requires to be at the airport at least 4 hrs before boarding time . My daughter book us at Belmont Hotel. Oh we just need a roof for the night,. a small inn will do , Thanks Rea for choosing Belmont for us. This is already a staycation

Mayon is on alert level 2 at the time of our flight but when we arrived Manila alert level was raised to 3 . Mayon is now spewing ashes and evacuation from danger zone is advised. .

Bicol International Airport

The Cebu Pacific arrives on time and we landed at 8:30. We have plenty if time , check in is at 2 pm. After eating breakfast we decided to walk from NAIA 3 to Belmont hotel thru runway Manila.

We paid 500 pesos for an early check in . The room has a nice view of the nearby establishment, room is spacious and clean . This is a good deal for 3,800 pesos.

In the afternoon we enjoyed the roof top pool and have some refreshment

at night my daughter pick us up for dinner. Newport mall is walking distance. The kuhol from Crisostomo is so expensive , oh we have a lot of this in Tinambac, kuhol reminds me of martial law time when Imelda spreads the golden kuhol to farmers, only to be a pest in riceland until today

Day Tour at Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort

We want to stay at the city center of Cebu but we also want to enjoy the beach which is in Lapu Lapu so we opted for a day tour in one of the 4 star resort the Bluewater Maribago.

the swimming pool is a bit crowded . We went there on peak season which is december

the beach in Mactan is not as beautiful as the other beaches in Cebu
island hopping in Mactan is more expensive than El Nido or Coron
the good thing about the day tour in Maribago Blue Waters in Cebu is the lunch buffet
if you will not avail of the buffet there is another reataurant where you can order seafoods. Tou can choose from their aquarium live shrimps clmas and fish and they will cook it for you

should I recommend this to my family and friends.? If it is on sale yes
